The Intersek 2017, protagonist in the Facebook channel Traffic ZMG
Next InterSEK, which starts on May 8, has become one of the most important news broadcasted by Trafico ZMG, the cannel of Facebook and Twitter.
A journalist and a cameraman have the school facilities this week in order to interview the principal, Dolores Otero, and record different sports activities that students were practicing at that moment.
Trafico ZMG is a leader of the digital media in Jalisco, with 1.114.000 followers on its Facebook page, and almost 570000 in Twitter.
During first 12 hours the news report already had 7.070 views
The raffle which defines the order of the participation in the InterSEK 2017
We have done a raffle in order to choose a number which each delegation that participates in the Sports InterSEK 2017 will have within 3 groups into which they have been previously divided. This will help to establish the order in which the teams will compete with each other

The Principal of SEK Guadalajara International school spoke about the World Sports InterSEK 2017 at Megacanal
Last Wednesday, the principal of SEK Guadalajara International school, Dolores Otero, was invited to “ Otra noche con ustedes” , a programme of a cable network, Megacanal, that has the largest audience. In her interview to a Spanish journalist and writer, Senci Romero, she spoke about an important sports event that would take place at the facilities of SEK Guadalajara International school in May, and which would be attended by more than 200 students from different international schools of the institution.
On the programme, that can be watched all around the country, Dolores Otero highlighted that this year the institution celebrates 125 years since it was founded and also mentioned the dimension that the organization has nowadays: there are 21 schools and 2 universities in 14 countries around the world.
Judith Fernandez from Eiris International school : “ We are very excited about our travel to Guadalajara”
Judith Fernandez is one of the students of Eiris International school which is located in Spanish La Coruña. She is a Secondary 4th grade student, which corresponds to our 1st grade of High school. She, together with outher 13 Spanish students, would participate in different sports competitions at InterSEK 2017.
She herself commented in the video that all are very nervous about thas travel and they really hope to learn more about our customs and take back home the best memories of their experience in Mexico.
The meeting of the Governor of Jalisco, Aristoteles Sandoval , with our 7 th grade students
The meeting of the Governor of Jalisco, Aristoteles Sandoval , with our 7 th grade students was quite an unexpected encounter, regarding that the Governor had been invited to the World Sports InterSEK opening ceremony that would take place in Guadalajara on May 8.
We really hope he will join us at this important event! So, during the encounter the Governer asked the students about the most emblematic buildings of the city and invited them to have a tour around the Palace o f Government where they could see the Murals by Jose Clemente Orozco
SEK –Ecuador students are very excited about their travel to Guadalajara
Last Monday, SEK Ecuador and SEK Guadalajara students had an opportunity to meet over a video conference. That encounter helped them to exchange views on what their stay during INTERSEK in Guadalajara would be like.
During the conversation, that lasted for about an hour, students from Quito showed how thrilled they were about the upcoming travel to Guadalajara and how much they were looking forward to participate in all programmed sports competitions.
SEK Guadalajara students, in their turn, told them about how beautiful their city was and assured that they would have just a wonderful time.
SEK Ecuador delegation is formed by 16 competitors.

SEK Host Family
We have less than 100 days to go to the opening of the Sports InterSEK 2017 in Guadalajara. Miriam Vidal is one of the SEK mothers who, together with her family, has already once had a chance to become a hosting family and receive some students from other countries during InterSEK 2010, which also took place in Mexico. Her children gained unforgettable experience of what it is like to be a part of InterSEK, so Mrs. Vidal and her familiy do not have a single doubt in becoming a host family once again. Thanks for being a part of SEK family!
